I enjoy the design and development process, along being passionate with staying up to date on the latest technologies, particularly from Microsoft.
Thoughout my career, I have a reputation not to lose site of the big picture, yet still to be able to dive down to the detail. I have solved problems that have defeated others, and in some cases even provided creative solutions.
Which is why I have often been invited back by clients to add new features to existing solutions or to undertake new projects.

I have worked across the industry in Asset Management, Pensions and Life Assurance for companies such as Amundi, Schroders, United Friendly and Old Mutual.
Front Office
At Amundi I was part of an internationally Front Office team, responsible for developing the systems critical to the fund's business. Key successes included migrating 100,000 documents to the cloud and implementing features enabling the business to launch new funds.

I have worked in other industries such as Pharmaceutical (Quintiles), Telecoms (Ericsson), Agriculture, Recruitment and Gas/Electricity trading. I have also worked as independent consultant and as part of a team in software consultancies.

I can take your business priorities, identify the technical options or architectural directions, produce design proposals, guide the implementation of the chosen solution and finally provide reference documentation or applications.
Development
I am a certified Azure developer. I have been using .Net and C# almost from when it was released. I am experienced in databases design including Sql Server and Cosmos DB.
Analysis
I normally work with stakeholders identifying their requirements and priorities. I am comfortable with design feedback loop iterating over several cycles to evolving to final product whether it is a proposal or a prototype.
